September 19. 3011 <br />Dear Selection Committee: <br />It is with great satisfaction that I write this letter of recommendation for Chisholm <br />Architects. It is my understanding that their firm is being considered for Improvements <br />to the Port of \4iami F and G Terminals and although it may seem unlikely the work they <br />are bring considered for is very similar to the work thev have been providing to Great <br />Florida Bank since our inception in 2004. <br />When Great Florida Bank was initially conceived it realized the importance of meeting <br />and exceeding client expectations. Our philosophy of providing smaller branches with <br />customized client services required re- design and re- thinking of how a neighborhood <br />branch should work. leveraging todav's ever changing technology with traditional <br />banking services. <br />The firm not only designed prototypical floor plans, with finishes and detail standards <br />they also developed and designed prototypical free standing teller stations working <br />closely with our equipment vendors which included automated cash dispensers, cash <br />vaults. and IT equipment. these prototypical stations continue to be used throughout all of <br />our facilities. Their attention to understanding not only the customer experience but also <br />that of our employees, created a flexible, ergonomic, and easy to use banking facilities, <br />allow•ina our branches to function with less staff in a well conceived and designed <br />environment. <br />Even more impressive than that has been their leadership and design work they have <br />provided our property management and leasing division in our dealings with the United <br />States Department of Homeland Security. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). <br />We were recently awarded the leasing rights to design and construct ICE's new <br />administrative and detainee facility in West Palm Beach Florida. <br />Chisholm Architects lead our team in preparing a 299 page proposal which included <br />detailed information regarding the leasing, design and construction of their facility. Upon <br />the successful award of the project, the Tenant (ICE -GSA) was so impressed with their <br />work during the initial planning meetings that they requested that Chisholm Architects <br />
