<br />Gordon River Greenway Park, Collier County, FL — Served as landscape architect for the
<br />greenway plan and facility design of this passive park with meandering trails, boardwalks,
<br />pavilions, trailhead parking, and a restored wetland preserve. Park users will appreciate the
<br />area's natural beauty, companion environmental signage, and education programs. Behind the
<br />scenes, the natural - looking stormwater facilities will provide attenuation of peak flood stage and
<br />water quality treatment.
<br />Countywide Multimodal Greenway, Bicycle, and Sidewalk System Master Plan, DeSoto
<br />County, FL — Created a Countywide Greenway, Bicycle, and Sidewalk System Master Plan
<br />for DeSoto County. The FDOT LAP grant- sponsored master plan achieves a comprehensive
<br />countywide network of greenways /trails, bicycle, and sidewalk systems to provide recreation
<br />options for DeSoto County residents. The plan provides an inventory of existing conditions
<br />throughout the County and identifies possible connections to surrounding counties. The plan
<br />also includes an implementation strategy for funding and scheduling construction projects.
<br />The master plan connects to neighboring counties' bicycle and greenway plans to provide
<br />opportunities where DeSoto County and surrounding counties can create a regionwide system
<br />of greenways.
<br />o Capital Cascades Trail, Segments 3 and 4, Blueprint 2000, Tallahassee, FL —As
<br />® landscape architect for the Kimley -Horn team, provided services to design landscaping for
<br />the greenway, assisted with community participation and consensus building, stormwater low
<br />® impact development concepts, and park amenities.
<br />® Urban Forestry Master Plan Update, Bradenton, FL — Project manager providing
<br />® arboricultural services including; inventory and assessment of City's existing tree canopy;
<br />® identification of potential streetscape projects in urban and suburban commercial corridors
<br />® to provide conceptual concept plans correlated to the Future Land Use Map (FLUM);
<br />establishment of standards for the implementation of canopy roadways; development of a
<br />® preferred tree planting palette for the specific microclimates within the City; development of
<br />I® planting establishment and maintenance guidelines that can be utilized by public staff and
<br />® private citizens; provide a comprehensive list of potential grant/funding opportunities that may
<br />be available to implement the Master Plan Update; and coordination of public workshops to
<br />® educate the community.
<br />®Kensington Park, Sarasota County, FL — Project manager and landscape architect working
<br />with Sarasota County Urban Forestry Program to assist in communicating their vision for
<br />® reforestation of the urban canopy and neighborhood beautification. The project consisted
<br />® of preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and construction phase services for
<br />roadway landscaping and low impact development (LID) improvements along Prudence
<br />®
<br />Boulevard, 27th Parkway, and Gold Avenue, for a total of 2.4 miles. LID components consist
<br />® of Florida Friendly Landscaping, reduction of impervious pavement, pervious (Flexi -Pave)
<br />® sidewalk, and a landscaped biodetention area for water quality improvements to the existing
<br />stormwater runoff.
<br />® Tom Bennett Park, Manatee County, FL — As landscape architect, worked closely with
