<br />Key design elements included a civic open space and amphitheatre; several miles of trails and waterfront promenades; active
<br />0 recreation fields; a community building; and interpretive signage highlighting the significant environmental restoration planned for the
<br />0 project.
<br />0 West Villages Parkway, North Port, FL — Provided landscape architectural and arboricultural services for a 2.6 -mile thoroughfare
<br />0 for a newly - developed Village land use classification. The Parkway provides for regional connections in rural areas. It is proposed
<br />® as a two -lane divided road and designed to accommodate four lanes in the future. Major components include interconnecting all
<br />neighborhood and village networks and incorporating multimodal facilities and traffic calming measures. A high level of landscape
<br />0 treatment was required to reflect the identity of this emerging Florida development district. A canopy coverage analysis and extensive
<br />® tree mitigation techniques were implemented in order to preserve existing trees. Proposed landscape reflects sustainable /green
<br />0 standards and low impact development (LID) standards previously prepared by Kimley -Horn for the West Villages' Village District
<br />Pattern Book.

<br />Veterans' Community Park Master Plan, Marco Island, FL — Provided review of potential LID /LEED opportunities and assisted
<br />in facilitating discussions on the overall sustainable design goals and objectives for the project. Veterans' Community Park is located
<br />within the Town Center District of Marco Island. This downtown area of Marco Island is home to many local businesses and merchants
<br />and is surrounded by Collier Bay and residential canals. The waterfront park will be a catalyst for redevelopment within the Town
<br />Center area, as well as a gathering space for local citizens and host to local events such as the farmers market, holiday festivals, and
<br />an shows. Veterans' Community Park will feature a waterfront promenade, amphitheater, civic green, fountain plaza, and a performing
<br />arts center.
<br />Siesta Beach Park, Sarasota County, FL — Landscape architect with primary role of providing Low Impact Development (LID)
<br />alternatives, LEED coordination and implementation, and other sustainable design solutions. Other involvement will include park
<br />design, construction documents, and permitting for the high - profile Siesta Beach Park project in Sarasota County. While the project
<br />is in its early stages, design components will include a beach front esplanade to connect key park components; improved traffic
<br />circulation and parking; wayfinding signage; environmental permitting; bioswales, pervious pavement, Silva Cells, and other LID
<br />components, as applicable.
<br />Blackburn Point Park, Osprey, FL — Providing landscape architectural services and master plan collaboration for Kimley -Horn team
<br />providing engineering design, permitting, and preparation of construction plans and contract documents for Blackburn Point Park,
<br />a chain of island park sites along Blackburn Point road and the Intracoastal Waterway. The combined park sites will provide: boat
<br />ramps, boat trailer parking, car parking, docks /fishing piers, enhanced pedestrian connections, kayak launch, exotic species removal,
<br />enhanced native plantings, restroom facilities, playground, low impact development solutions, grand tree preservation, renovated
<br />rowing club yard and ramp, group pavilion /restrooms /concessions, picnic shelters, and shadeAnterpretive structure.
<br />West Villages 63 -Acre Park, North Port, FL — Serving as landscape architect. The 63 -Acre Park located in North Port has been a
<br />collaborative process between Kimley -Horn, the West Villages Improvement District, the City of North Port Parks Advisory Board, and
<br />local citizens. We have facilitated public workshops and produced a conceptual site plan that features: environmental preservation,
<br />enhancement, and restoration; an aquatic center and water park; an adult softball complex; covered basketball courts; a playground;
<br />nature trails; and interpretive signage that highlights the site's natural beauty and ecosystems. Landscape architectural services
<br />include: facilitating public workshops; conceptual design and layout; design development of park features; construction documents;
<br />and coordination with the environmental consultant, park economist, and grants consultant to help ensure the economic viability and
<br />sustainability of the park.
<br />30% Design -Build Documents and Bid Package for Pompano Beach Tri -Rail Station and East Lot Park -n -Ride Improvements,
<br />Pompano Beach, FL — Served as landscape architect on the Kimley -Horn team that assembled a design -build criteria package for
<br />the renovation of an existing Tri -Rail station. Services included the preparation of technical specifications, general and special terms
<br />and conditions, cost estimating, 30 percent plans, coordination with architect and team, civil engineering design, initial permitting, and
<br />utility coordination letters.
