<br />® General Civil Engineering Consultant, Bay Harbor Islands, FL — Served as project analyst
<br />and provided permitting assistance for this general services contract. The Kimley -Horn team
<br />Q recently completed the master plan for a community enhancement program that includes
<br />® roadway, streetscape, drainage, utility undergrounding, and beautification. Additional projects
<br />® that are currently under construction, or have recently been constructed, are two passive parks
<br />and a roadway beautification project. Half of the cost of these projects was funded by a grant
<br />® obtained with Kimley- Horn's assistance.
<br />gNW 37 Avenue Water and Sewer Improvements, Miami -Dade County, FL — Project
<br />engineer. This project is part of the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department's (MDWASD)
<br />® `Needs Assessment Program" (NAP). It consisted of the preparation of a technical
<br />® memorandum to evaluate alternatives and recommend improvements within a 2,000 -acre
<br />area of unincorporated Miami -Dade County that had little or no existing water and sewer
<br />® infrastructure. The scope of services included data collection; site investigations; and
<br />® researching utility billing records to identity properties currently without water and sewer service
<br />® or being served by the City of Hialeah. Other tasks performed included environmental site
<br />assessments, researching right -of -way availability, coordination with regulatory agencies and
<br />® stakeholders, future demand projections, hydraulic modeling to identify system deficiencies and
<br />® the development of alternatives to meet current and future potable service and fire protection
<br />® demands. Kimley -Horn delivered a Technical Memorandum to MDWASD containing all findings
<br />and recommendations for implementation of improvements.
<br />® City of Homestead Community Redevelopment - Southwest Neighborhood Plan,
<br />Homestead, FL — Served as project analyst and performed contaminant investigation, OPC,
<br />®
<br />and master planning. The Southwest Neighborhood Master Plan is truly a first class work
<br />® plan for all future development within the 350 -acre historic African American neighborhood in
<br />® the City of Homestead. Kimley -Horn led a diverse team of architects, economists, historians,
<br />planners, and specialists (including transportation, utilities, and environmental) to develop a
<br />® holistic approach to the redevelopment plan for the neighborhood. Through a tremendous public
<br />® consensus effort, the project has now become an amendment to the City land development
<br />® code and is being implemented.
<br />® Miami River Greenway, Miami, FL — Project analyst involved in the creation of a greenway
<br />Q within the existing right -of -way owned by the City of Miami. Responsibilities included permitting,
<br />® drainage, site utility coordination and profiling, schematics, storm invert inspection, and survey
<br />verification. Our team provided site civil services for paving, grading, landscape architecture,
<br />® construction plans, drainage plans, and permitting. The new Miami River Greenway will serve
<br />as a pedestrian linkage for the many communities along the river to the downtown.
<br />Q Midtown Miami Brownfield Redevelopment, Miami, FL — Provided utility profiling and
<br />Q coordination, permit scheduling, site inspection and calculations, water and sewer design,
<br />® Community Development District reports, drainage report and exhibits, OPC, zoning approval,
<br />capital improvements, public right -of -way improvements, sight triangulation, environmental
<br />Q restoration analysis, shop drawing reviews for this large redevelopment project.
