Prior to obtaining the stimulus funding, Kimley -Horn assisted the Town in <br />estuarine environments <br />becoming Local Agency Program (LAP) certified so that the Town would be eligible to obtain <br />■ Experience designing wetland <br />® <br />the stimulus funding. Our team developed a design criteria package —in compliance with <br />mitigation and restoration <br />® <br />Federal funding criteria —which resulted in securing the stimulus funding and award of the <br />areas, conducting endangered <br />® <br />project to the design -build team. The project included drainage system improvements such as <br />species surveys, delineating <br />new stormwater inlets, a new outfall connection, exfiltration trench for water quantity and quality <br />wetlands, and permitting projects <br />® <br />treatment, new sidewalk, and new pavement markings and signage. Led the <br />® <br />effort to resolve a pending violation for unauthorized mangrove trimming with the County while <br />ensuring that the most valuable land on this property (waterfront) remained unencumbered by <br />® <br />the mitigation requirements. The project is ongoing. <br />® <br />Pompano Beach Airpark Continuing Services (including Runway 15 -33 Rehabilitation), <br />Pompano Beach, FL — Served as environmental analyst and assisted with the permitting <br />® <br />and successful relocation of 21 gopher tortoises as part of a runway expansion project. Also <br />® <br />conducted surveys for burrowing owls throughout the airport and permitted and conducted the <br />® <br />`take" of several burrowing owl nests in conjunction with runway expansion projects. Set up <br />starter burrows and T- perches for the owls to relocate to. <br />ID <br />® <br />Sian Ocean Residences and Resort (aka Indigo or Indigo /Sian), Hollywood, FL — Sian is a <br />hotellcondo redevelopment project spanning an area from Hollywood Beach to the Intracoastal <br />® <br />Waterway. As an environmental scientist, assisted with the preparation of a coastal construction <br />® <br />control line (CCCL) permit application for construction seaward of the CCCL. Participated in <br />® <br />agency coordination for marina expansion. <br />Miami River -Miami Intermodal Center Capacity Improvement (MR- MICCI), Miami, FL <br />® <br />Serving as analyst.
