Reports were prepared for each project reviewed, and <br />® findings were reported at several meetings and depositions. <br />® 48 -Inch Force Main Along Sunny Isles Boulevard, North Miami, FL — Project engineer for the design of a 48 -inch force main along <br />Sunny Isles Boulevard from P.S. 426, just west side of the Intracoastal Waterway, to the WASD North District WWTP. The project <br />® consists of installing approximately 7,600 linear feet of a 48 -inch diameter D.I.P. (I.D.) force main along Sunny Isles Boulevard and <br />® <br />2,600 linear feet of twin 48 -inch diameter H.D.P.E. (O.D.) force mains through the Oleta River State Recreation Area. The project <br />required an aerial crossing of the Oleta River, and extensive coordination with Florida DEP for the mitigation of impacted natural <br />® resources. <br />® <br />Water Distribution and Sanitary Sewage Collection Improvements from NW 41st Street to NW 51st Street, between NW 35th <br />Avenue and NW 36th Avenue, Miami -Dade Water and Sewer District (MDWASD), FL — Served as project manager for the design <br />® and installation of 7,000± linear feet of 12 -inch diameter water mains, 8,000± linear feet of 8 -inch sewer mains and service connections <br />® in order to sustain present and future economic redevelopment within a 70± acre, mostly - industrial area of Miami -Dade County. <br />Services included planning, hydraulic modeling, analysis and design, stakeholder coordination and public involvement, permitting, <br />® <br />assistance during bid and award, and construction phase services. Many properties in the project area are on private water wells and <br />® septic systems, and others are served the neighboring City of Hialeah. The plans included a sequence to transfer those connections <br />® from Hialeah to Miami -Dade County without service interruptions. <br />® Environmental Permits for Repair of 54 -inch Subaqueous Force Main, Miami Beach, FL — On behalf of the Miami -Dade Water <br />® and Sewer Department, prepared and submitted "after- the -fact" permit packages to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection <br />® and Miami -Dade County DERM for the emergency repair of a subaqueous 54 -inch force main damaged by a private contractor within <br />the Miami Beach Marina. Responsibilities included gathering information pertaining to the repair methods, preparing exhibits, and <br />® submitting the packages within a short time frame. <br />® Government Cut Force Main Phase I, Miami Beach, FL — Project manager on the Kimley -Horn team that prepared a feasibility <br />® study to evaluate the opportunities and constraints of installing a 54 -inch force main under Government Cut. The study included a <br />® brief description of the project, including its purpose and need and agency jurisdictional control and coordination for permitting. It <br />® summarized the various construction methodologies and issues that would be involved in the design, permitting, and construction of <br />these force mains and provided a ranking recommendation. <br />® SW 288th Street 24 -inch Water Main, Homestead, FL — Served as project analyst responsible for analysis and design of <br />® approximately 2,500 linear feet of 24 -inch water main along SW 288th Street for the Miami -Dade Water and Sewer Department <br />(MDWASD) to serve the Homestead Air Force Base. The project involved the design of a MDWASD venturi master metering station <br />® near SW 132nd Avenue. Responsibilities included administration of survey and permitting work, preparation of bid and contract <br />® documents, and constant contact with MDWASD staff. <br />® Bayview Market, Miami, FL — Project engineer on the Kimley -Horn team responsible for preparing site -civil construction documents <br />® for right -of -way vacations, utility relocations, utility upgrades and storm water management improvements necessary to support this <br />® urban redevelopment project. The project consists of the vertical stacking of several historically `big box" retail stores on multiple <br />levels of the building, while accommodating sufficient customer access and parking, as well as delivery truck access. Kimley -Horn also <br />® prepared construction drawings for the reconstruction and widening of NE 17th Terrace, NE 2nd Avenue, NE Miami Place, and the <br />® milling and resurfacing of NE 17th Street and North Miami Avenue <br />Streetscape for SW 4th Street, Homestead, FL — Project manager for the design of roadway and streetscape improvements <br />following the SW 4th Street Master Plan. The project consisted of roadway resurfacing, right -of -way beautification, on- street parking, <br />streetscape, landscape, and irrigation improvements along SW 4th Street between SW 2nd and SW 7th Avenues.
