Marco Biagioni, PE <br />Construction Support Services <br />Mr. Biagioni is a Civil Engineer with over 31 years of experience in construction <br />management, quality control /assurance, marketing, and supervisory <br />experience in large projects for municipal and state clients including but <br />not limited to Miami Dade County, City of Miami, FDOT, and MDX. He is <br />experienced in civil and engineering design and construction techniques <br />utilizing FDOT and Florida Building Code principles and construction <br />processes while simultaneously managing large staff and providing <br />technical leadership on projects with budgets of up to $ 1.2 billion. He is <br />skilled in assessing and solving construction problems in the field; negotiating <br />and resolving claims; and discerning the relative importance of varying <br />projects /elements within major construction programs by establishing <br />appropriate priorities. <br />Key Projects <br />Project B- 30588, San Marco and <br />Biscayne Islands Drainage and Lighting <br />Improvements Project <br />Miami. Florida <br />Mr. Biagioni assisted the Project <br />Manager in the overall CEI <br />coordination for the San Marco <br />and Biscayne Islands drainage <br />and lighting improvements (Project <br />B- 30588). His tasks included reviewing <br />the Contractor's Baseline Schedule <br />and updates; recommending any <br />changes regarding re- location of <br />new structures and pipelines due <br />to existing utilities not identified <br />previously; designing an emergency <br />plan to alleviate the Flooding issues <br />during drainage improvement <br />construction; recommending <br />contract time adjustments via <br />weather and special events such <br />as Memorial Day weekend and <br />holidays; monitoring Contractor's <br />Requests for Information and Shop <br />Drawing Submittals; coordinating <br />project activities with the Miami - <br />Dade County Public Works group to <br />avoid delays and schedule conflicts <br />with ongoing county refractions; and <br />performing day -to -day inspections <br />and wrote reports. <br />MDX Corridors Project <br />Miami. Florida <br />Mr. Biagioni assisted the MDX <br />Senior Project Manager in the <br />overall CEI coordination for all five <br />MDX corridors. His tasks included <br />reviewing the Contractor's Baseline <br />Schedule and updates; approving <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Conanuing rotessional Services `or engineering <br />RFQ No. Il -07 -02 <br />Augusi 12, 2014 <br />and overseeing the Contractor's <br />Quality Control Plan, including <br />required addendums; reviewing <br />and recommending approval of <br />the Contractor's Concrete Coating <br />Plan; recommending contract <br />time adjustment via weather and <br />special events such as Super Bowl <br />weekend and holidays; monitoring <br />Contractor's Requests for Information <br />and Shop Drawing Submittals; <br />reviewing Contractor's Weekly MOT <br />Reports and SWPPP documentation; <br />certifying Quantities for coating <br />and MOT devices; preparing <br />documentation to certify paint <br />material used as a Class V material; <br />coordinating project activities with <br />MDX PIO group to avoid delays and <br />schedule conflicts with ongoing <br />ORT operations; performing site <br />investigation and research at FDOT <br />District IV offices for locations and <br />types of anti - graffiti film materials; <br />and evaluating method for removal <br />of existing film. <br />Reconstruction of Haulover Marina <br />Phase II & Bicentennial Park (Phase III) <br />Pembroke Park, Florida <br />Mr. Biagioni served as Project <br />Manager in this $ 12 million project <br />that involved the demolition of <br />the existing facility located at the <br />Intracoastal Waterway. The scope <br />included the construction of a <br />seawall (sheet pile with concrete <br />cap), a covered canopy walkway, <br />boat decks and piers, roadway, <br />40 ALS <br />
