PUTNAM
October 3. 2013
I o whom it may Concern
My name is Craig Christ and I am a Construction Project Consultant employed by the Florida
Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, located in Tallahassee, Florida. The purpose
of this letter is my recommendation of CPH, Inc.. 500 West Fulton, Street, Sanford. F1.32 771. 1
have been a project manager for the State of Florida for I 9-years and in that time I have worked
with multiple design professionals in the state. From my experience- CPH Inc. is one of. if not
the best design firm I have worked with.
My relationship with CPH started in 2001 with the rash of hurricanes we experienced in 200-1
and 2005. I work for the Division of Marketing. Bureau of Slate Farmers' Markets and we
sustained major damage at several of our properties. CPH was selected as the design firm for our
market located in Wauchula_ F un& which had sustained major damage. This project was
estimated at S45 million and included 2- replacement buildings I -major repair that replaced 'k
of an existing building and major repairs to 2 -other buildings on site. Not only did CPH perform
their duties flawlessly on this complex project, this was the smoothest reconstruction project we
undertook in the smmt men%e . CPII was also instrumental in our securing 100% funding from
FEMA for this project due to their damage assessments. analysis. written technical reports and
meetings with FEMA. In fact, they traveled to Orlando on Christmas Lve. 2006 bin meet with us
and FEMA uw finalize the scope of work and secure our funding.
I was so impressed with their performance on the Wauchula project that 1 have since contracted
with them for 6 other projects. These other projects have really run the gambit as far as scope of
work is cencemcd. We have used their services for such diverse projects as a communication
line relocation (which was a very complex project), partial demolition and addition pmjects, steel
platform repairs and they are currently working on a new retail sales building to be located at our
market in Ft. Pierce Florida. which also includes demolition - As you can see. I have worked
with CPH on quite a variety of projects from the straight - forward new building construc6un to
what can only be described a unusual- projects. The only commonality in the pmjects was the
performance of CPH. These projects ranged from S4- million- to 5100.000, but they were all
handled the same by CPH. I have found them to be professional, dedicated• asponsive and a
pleasure to work with_ They always return my calls the same day and have gone to the projects
on a moments notice when 1 needed them. I highly recommend CPFI, Inc. for all of your design
needs. regardless of size or scope of work. They have simply never let me down.
Should you have any questions. or wish to discuss my experience with CPH. Inc.. please don't
hesitate to contact me.
