RJ Behar has become very familiar with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), The Florida Greenbook, Florida Department of Transportation Standards, American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), The Broward County Land Development Code and many City Code Ordinances. RJ Behar owns data capturing equipment and has in -house trained staff to collect and process traffic volume data. We can perform traffic volume counts, speed studies, turning movement counts, vehicle classification studies and vehicle cut- through analysis. These traffic data gathering services are performed by our in -house staff and do not require the involvement of a third party subconsultant. This allows us flexibility and the ability to respond to our clients request for these services efficiently and on short notice. We have state of the art computer equipment and all of the latest engineering software to produce any necessary traffic plan including Synchro, CORSIM and TSIS, McTRANS HCS +T, TRAXPro, Cube 5, PETRAPro, and TCU. RJ Behar has experience in the design of modem roundabouts. We have provided contract documents for several roundabouts. Roundabouts were designed at NW 146th Street/N. Miami Avenue /S. River Drive — Roundabout, Miami -Dade County; Palm Avenue /E. 17th Street in Hialeah and at N.E. 15th Avenue /N.E.18th Street in Fort Lauderdale. STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES Our in -house structural design capabilities enable us to provide full design services for our clients.
