The <br />project included demolition and reconstruction of the concrete bridge deck to a depth of 3.5% sandblasting, check for steel <br />deterioration, and re- install/splice new reinforcing steel as necessary; and final placement, casting, and curing of the new <br />concrete overlay deck. Extensive coordination and MOT set -up was required on the 1.75 interstate during the Pines Blvd. <br />bridge deck demolition operations.
