Continuing Professional Services for Architectural, Landscape Architectural, Engineering and Land Surveying Firm Only (CCNA) - RFQ No. 14 -07 -02 0 Section 4 - Approach / Methodology Project management approach RJ Behar has been providing the City of Sunny Isles Beach with professional engineering services for the past two years. During this period of time, we have demonstrated a commitment to meet schedules, provide quality services and provide proactive management on all of the work assigned to date. This includes: • Design Services of Lehman Causeway Wall - RJ Behar completed this assignment ahead of schedule and reacted quickly when the City discovered the need to relocate the wall. This included the need to mitigate unforeseen utilities during construction and provide quick and cost effective alternate solutions during the construction of the wall. • Design Build Criteria Package for Gateway Park Pedestrian Bridge - RJ Behar completed this assign- ment ahead of schedule. The assignment required coordination with the FDOT, as well as other agencies. • Gilbert Samsun Park - We are providing civil engineering services, as well as, coordinating several disciplines for this very high profile park project, which includes coordinating landscape architecture, structural engineering, surveying, architecture and geotechnical engineering services. Our organization places the upmost importance on the Project Manager to deliver quality services, on time and within budget. The Project Manager is the key to a successful project; he is the "CEO" for the technical elements related to the project. Our project management philosophy is to be proactive. This simply means: to search out problems and solve them before they can happen. Our Project Manager, Mr. Javier Rodriguez, P.E., has been involved in numerous design projects over the past 26 years. Our ® management philosophy is best summarized as follows: a. Staff (Personnel who will perform the work) : RJ Behar will commit highly competent and experienced professionals to this project. They will be provided the necessary resources and be held accountable for their results. For each firm in the team, we have established a point of contact for this contract that will start the coordination from each firm to develop the scope of services. Working with City Staff and key members of the =_ -` Project Team, Mr. Rodriguez will identify all discrete activities, resources and efforts required for each task, and prepare the project _ schedule.
