Giarratana <br />Senior Supervising Engineer <br />Mr. Giarratana has over 35 years of experience in <br />the civil and environmental engineering fields, <br />including water and wastewater treatment plant <br />designs, permitting, construction management, <br />certification, troubleshooting existing treatment <br />systems, pump stations, sanitary sewer force mains, <br />collection systems and potable water pipe lines. <br />Mr. Giarratana has worked in the consulting field specializing in all aspects of <br />water and wastewater engineering since 1977 and has been working with CAS <br />since 1998. Mr. Giarratana is responsible for managing civil and environmental <br />projects from their initial planning, financing. designing, permitting, construction <br />management and certification of completion. <br />Selected Relative Experience: <br />Glades County Wastewater Treatment Plant, Moore Haven, Florida Design, <br />permitting and construction management for the conversion of an extended <br />aeration activated sludge wastewater treatment plant to an advanced tertiary <br />membrane biological reactor (MBR) treatment plant including a man -made 52 <br />acre wetlands disposal system. <br />Water Treatment Plant Expansion, City of Moore Haven, Florida Ultrafiltration <br />expansion and remote booster pump station, including a ground storage tank, <br />re-chlorination and VFD controlled booster pumps. The system is controlled by <br />a new SCADA system allowing plant control strategy via the internet. <br />Miccosukee Tribe of Indians Water Treatment Plant & 12 Miles of New Water <br />Mains Design of a water treatment plant expansion including new potable <br />water well pumps, degasifiers, carbon vessels, a new utility office /storage /high <br />service pump station building. ground storage tank and 12 miles of water main <br />construction at the reservation located in the Florida Everglades. <br />Wauchula Hills Water and Sewer Treatment Plants Including Water Utility <br />Headquarters Building Design, permitting and construction of a wastewater <br />treatment plant and effluent re -use disposal system including off site sanitary <br />sewer installation and six (6) sanitary sewer lift stations. The project included a <br />potable water treatment plant, two (2) potable water wells, and a custom <br />designed 9,000 sq. ft. Utility Department office building. <br />Lake Region Water Treatment Plant Raw Water & Potable Water Transmission <br />System Responsible for the design and permitting of 91,200 linear feet of <br />potable water mains to connect the cities of Pahokee, Belle Glade and South <br />Bay to the new Glades utility Authority's regional water treatment plant. The <br />project includes the design of the raw water piping to sever (7) well sites. The <br />project allowed these three (3) cities to abandon and decommission their <br />antiquated water treatment plants that were utilizing Lake Okeechobee as their <br />water source. <br />Craig A.
