Senior personnel with over 150 years of combined experience not only have great technical skill, but the ability to effectively com- municate with City staff, regulatory agencies, commissions, and the general public. Our measure of excellence is the long term satisfaction of our clients and the achievement of the principles we share as a firm. Kathryn O'Leary Richards, ASLA, LEED GA is President of ORDA and has over 29 years of experience as a Landscape Architect in South Florida and has been the design principle for a multitude of successful civic and public projects. Under Kathy's technical and administrative guidance, there have been numerous successful projects that were built on time and within budget. She is currently a Landscape Architectural Consultant for several municipalities and her leadership skills will ensure quality as she oversees the exe- cution of all projects. She provides continuity and coordination through all phases of each project, from initial planning through design, construction and bidding. She is an advocate of quality design and dedi- cated to the highest principles of professionalism. Bill O'Leary, FASLA, has practiced as a Landscape Architect in South Florida for over 50 years, is a fellow 1 of the American Society of landscape Architects and is widely considered a leader in his field. He founded the firm that has evolved into ORDA in 1969. His experience includes being the Landscape Architectural Consultant to numerous municipalities and FDOT for several years. He has been the Landscape Architec- tural Consultant to the Village of Bal Harbour over 30 years and completed the Miracle Mile median en- hancement for the City of Coral Gables. Carlos Somoza has practiced landscape architecture for over 17 years and is a creative and resourceful designer skilled at bridging the gap between compelling conceptual designs and tangible, highly - crafted urban environments. He has been the project manager on several multidisciplinary collaborations for public realm projects including community parks, city center streetscapes, civic plazas and public prome- nades. He is adept at leading design teams through the multiple stages of the design process and its technical requirements and has built a solid reputation as a lead designer. o Kevin Richards has over 20 years of experience in construction management in the South Florida area and has managed several governmental and commercial projects. He has extensive knowledge in con- struction administration, cost estimating, critical path project organization and quality control and brings Da depth to the ORDA team. ORDA's current work load and staff availability is such that the firm can read- ily accomplish the work needed for this project. ORDA is pleased to announce that Alvarez Engineers, Inc., a Miami -Dade County based engineering firm, will supply us with all necessary support personnel in the areas of civil and electrical engineering ser- vices, utility coordination, Maintenance of Traffic plans, and quality control. Their staff has extensive training in all phases of design and their proficiency in civil and electrical requirements as well as project procedures allows them to move projects forward steadily to completion. ORDA and Alvarez Engineers have worked together on several projects and also completed the first phase of the Collins Avenue streetscape in the City of Sunny Isles Beach which created the vocabulary for the entire streetscape.
