F L H 1 F Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 14 -07 -02 Landscape Architecture SECTION 2: QUALIFICATIONS Section 2: Qualifications ORDA is eminently qualified to serve the needs of the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Our staff offers exten- sive municipal experience to provide its clients with exceptional professional landscape architectural ser- vices that includes the completion of hundreds of projects within established budgets and time sched- ules. We are currently the landscape architectural consultants to the City of Aventura, Village of Palmet- to Bay, City of Doral, City of Miami Gardens, City of Miami Beach, City of Coral Springs and the Town of Golden Beach. We have also been the Landscape Architectural consultants to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, FDOT, City of Miami, Village of Pinecrest, Village of Key Biscayne, and the City of Coral Gables in Miami -Dade County. In addition, we have served as the Landscape Architectural Consultant to the Vil- lage of Sal Harbour for the past 30 years and are extremely familiar with the unique environmental is- sues associated with beachfront communities in South Florida. We have completed numerous projects for local municipalities within FDOT rights -of -way as well. All of these projects required securing of permits and interface with the FDOT. Some of these projects include SR 5 /Collins Avenue Streetscape in Sal Harbour; Crandon Boulevard Landscaping in Key Biscayne; SR 826 /Sunny Isles Boulevard and SR AIA/Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach; Kennedy Causeway /NW 79th Street Median Landscaping in North Bay Village, Florida; US 1 from SW 136th St. to SW 80th St. in the Village of Pinecrest; SR 5 /Biscayne Boulevard from NE 172nd Street to NE 214th Street in Aventura; and Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Florida. ORDA is the best qualified consultant to perform the contract and has over 100 years of combined expe- rience in all required responsibilities requested by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. We have extensive ex- perience with numerous municipalities and agencies in the preparation of landscape drawings, construc- tion documents and specifications, site master planning, analysis, urban design and open space planning. We recently completed three parks for the Town of Golden Beach and won an award of excellence for paving design from NCMA for the Palmetto Bay Municipal Center where we master planned the open space, prepared construction documents and assisted in LEED certification. We have prepared design guidelines for the City of Aventura and have performed peer review analysis for Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach and FDOT. In addition to landscape architectural design and planning, we specialize in assisting municipalities monitor their landscape maintenance by providing maintenance inspections and reports, meeting with the maintenance contractor, and providing solutions to everyday problems that occur.
