Parks and Recreational Facilities Planning The City's General Planning services category includes Parks and Recreational Facilities Planning. K &S Landscape Architects have been involved in over 40 park projects, with both active and passive recreation. These projects consist of budgets ranging from $100,000 to $8.9 million. Project types include municipal construction, traditional design - bid and design - build. Services range from programming to master planning through construction observations and final certifications. Structural Engineering ® With over 100 years of combined structural experience, ® the Structural Engineering Division of K &S is made up of a dynamic group of design professionals that form an ® integral piece of this well - established multidisciplinary ® firm. Structures enjoys a diverse and expanding portfolio, providing design services and expertise to both public and private sector clients providing structural engineering services to the FDOT, County governments, municipal departments, and numerous private developers. We assist governmental agencies with plan preparation, plan phase reviews and constructability plan reviews and provide engineering and related services on all types of structural projects ranging in size and scope from complete grade separation interchanges, intersections to minor at -grade bridge canal crossings, DIMS structures, pedestrian bridges and retaining walls, seawalls marinas and docks. We have also inspected and designed condensed - schedule maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation projects and provided on -call Engineer of Record support services to the Contractor during construction. Additionally, our experience also includes "Emergency Repairs" such as unexpected damage due to vehicular collisions and hurricane - induced damage; the types of problems that due to their urgent nature are reserved for only the most proficient, reliable, and responsive structural engineering teams. Our engineers have been committed to sustaining the State of Florida's infrastructure for over forty years.
