This firm has done an excellent job in performing <br />engineering tasks on behalf of the Davie Community Redevelopment Agency and the Town <br />of Davie. This firm has done an excellent job in not only providing design and construction <br />specifications but in providing oversight and monitoring construction projects as they are <br />built. <br />Specifically, the firm of Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. provided for the design and <br />construction specifications for a large public parking lot including landscaping and lighting. <br />The firm also provided on -site inspections during the construction phase. Craven <br />Thompson also designed an overall drainage plan for the east side of Davie Road with <br />water lines and sanitary sewer lines as well. This centralized drainage system will provide <br />water storage for individual parcels along Davie Road and will now enable these lots to be <br />improved. Craven Thompson has provided on -site review of the construction and <br />coordinated the efforts of the contractor on this job. The quality of the design of the project <br />was very good and had to be approved by the Central Broward Water Control District as <br />there is now a centralized drainage storage facility for this area. The project was completed <br />within the project budget. This firm is also designing the next two phases of improvements <br />to this drainage plan and the design also includes water and sewer improvements. <br />The CRA is extremely satisfied with the services provided by Craven Thompson & <br />Associates, Inc. and would recommend them to provide civil engineering services including <br />construction oversight.
