The lighting improvements encompass the entire <br />City limits along Biscayne Boulevard. The project improvements included the <br />removal of existing light poles and installation of new light poles in accordance <br />with FOOT and Miami -Dade County requirements. Approval was received from <br />both agencies for the light pole design and performance. A maintenance <br />agreement was established between the City of Aventura and Miami -Dade <br />County for the maintenance of the new decorative light poles. Phase I on this <br />project was funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). <br />All bid documents. inspections. reporting, and closeout documents for the <br />project were completed in accordance with Federal requirements. <br />400 <br />2 1 Page 31 <br />
