(CTA) provided survey and civil <br />engineering design services for this $4 million streetscape improvement <br />project along SW /SE 2nd Street in Fort Lauderdale. The project extends <br />from SW 31d Avenue to Federal Highway, approximately 1 mile in length. <br />CTA's role included researching extensive existing utilities, coordination <br />with existing properties along the route as well as several which are /were <br />under construction, utility relocation, roadway and sidewalk grading as <br />well as other aspects of the design process. The project required close <br />coordination between our Client, other consultants, the City of Fort <br />Lauderdale, Broward County Engineering Division, Florida Department of <br />Transportation, Florida Power and Light Co. and the Downtown <br />Development Authority. CTA's survey department was instrumental not <br />only in preparation of the route design survey but also coordination of title <br />search information, and preparation of sketch and legal descriptions for <br />numerous permanent and temporary easements. <br />CRAVEN THOMPSON & ASSOCIATES.
