The new <br />facility is home to the Village of Pinecrest's Village Hall <br />and Police Department. The municipal center serves as <br />the Village's seat of government, and houses the Village's <br />Building and Zoning Department, as well as their fully ac- <br />credited Police Station. The center is a three story build- <br />ing consisting of a 40,000 SF, two level parking garage <br />with space for approximately 50 vehicles on the ground <br />level and 50 police vehicles on a secured second level. <br />A 26,000 SF third level houses the Village's government <br />offices, public meeting spaces, building and zoning offic- <br />es, and the police station with offices, dispatch center, <br />holding cells, etc. Of special note, the building also serves <br />as the Village's Emergency Operations Center, and was <br />designed to withstand Category 5 hurricane wind speeds. <br />An emergency standby generator capable of providing <br />emergency power for three days adds additional protec- <br />tion during emergencies. <br />ARCHITECTURE <br />ENGINEERING <br />PLANNING <br />INTERIOR DESIGN <br />
