The facility to be built on a <br />Education <br />17.5 acre site consists of approximately 126,000 SF of new construction <br />Master of Architecture <br />encompassing administration offices, maintenance shops, warehouse <br />Georgia Institute of Technology <br />and storage areas and a maintenance garage. <br />1999 <br />Pinecrest Municipal Center and Emergency Operations Center, Vil- <br />Bachelor of Architecture <br />lage of Pinecrest, FL Project Architect for a new facility that houses the <br />Florida International University <br />Village's administrative offices, an accredited police department and the <br />1997 <br />building and zoning department. The facility is self- sustain- <br />ing for three days should external utilities be compromised. <br />Experience <br />As Assistant Director of Architecture, Mr. <br />Labrada has been institutional to the devel- <br />opment and support of numerous of the firms <br />largest and most prestigious projects, includ- <br />ing projects for various local government <br />agencies. <br />Palmetto Bay Library and Community Center, Palmetto Bay, FL Proj- <br />ect architect for a new 9,000 SF Library and Community Center. The <br />Library and Community Center will be utilized as a meeting place within <br />the community for a variety of seminars and events. As the first significant <br />new building for the Village, the architectural vocabulary and materials <br />palette selected will become the standard for future developments. <br />Florida International University Continuing Services Contract for Ar- <br />chitecture, Miami, FL Project architect for an architectural /engineering <br />Indefinite Quantity Contract for all of FIU's campuses. Individual work or- <br />ders under S1M in construction cost. To date, diverse projects consisted <br />of gymnasium locker room renovations, emergency structural upgrades to <br />a partially collapsed building to exterior window replacement and elevator <br />upgrades. <br />City of Miami General Consulting Contract, Miami, FL Project archi- <br />tect for various task orders that include architecture, mechanical, electrical <br />and plumbing upgrades. Project includes a new roofing system and site <br />improvements including a new parking lot with drainage and fencing for <br />security. Other tasks include ADA upgrades to building around the City. <br />Florida City Youth Community Center, Florida City, FL Project architect <br />for the planning and design of a new 21,500 SF youth activity and com- <br />munity center for the City of Florida City. The center features a wide range <br />of activities for specialized uses including an indoor basketball gym with <br />folding bleachers that seat 240 people. <br />Doral Public Works Facility, Doral, FL Project architect for a new vehicle <br />maintenance and public works facility housing approximately 30,000 SF <br />including a vehicle service bays, wash and fueling facility to accommodate <br />6 trolleys and approx. 120 vehicles.
