His expertise <br />and knowledge of life cycle cost analysis, <br />energy management system planning and <br />design insure effective operating cost man- <br />agement for the project. <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />RFO No. 14 -07 -02 138 <br />WOLFBERG ALVAREZ & PARTNERS <br />Relevant Project Experience <br />Vizcaya Museum and Gardens Miscellaneous Continuing Contract, <br />Miami, FL Mechanical engineer for A/E services to the Historic Vizcaya <br />Museum and Gardens. The projects under this contract include Architec- <br />tural restorations, re- roofing, re- painting, ADA enhancements, Electrical <br />Upgrades, Stormwater Discharge Management System and new building <br />construction. WA also is assisting in the bidding and permitting phase of <br />the project along with Construction Administration services. <br />City of Miami General Consulting Contract, Miami, FL Mechanical en- <br />gineer for various task orders that include architecture, mechanical, elec- <br />trical and plumbing upgrades. Project includes a new roofing system and <br />site improvements including a new parking lot with drainage and fencing <br />for security. Other tasks include ADA upgrades to building around the City. <br />General AIE Consulting Contract for Village of Pinecrest, Pinecrest, <br />FL Mechanical engineer for the programming, planning, architectural and <br />engineering services for the new Pinecrest Municipal Center. The build- <br />ing serves as the Village's seat of government, and houses the Village's <br />Building and Zoning Department, as well as their fully accredited Police <br />Station. A 26,000 square foot third level houses the Village's government <br />offices, public meeting spaces, building and zoning offices, and the police <br />station with offices, dispatch center, holding cells. The building also serves <br />as the Village's Emergency Operations Center, and designed to withstand <br />a Category 5 hurricane. <br />Town of Cutler Bay Architectural Contract via Design Build, Cutler <br />Bay, FL Mechanical engineer for a Design Build contract for miscella- <br />neous services and improvements for Town owned facilities. The recent- <br />ly awarded contract has resulted in work orders for park improvements, <br />interior improvements for new council chambers and police department <br />and preparation of studies analysis to "harden the Town Hall Building and <br />provisions for emergency self - sustainability. <br />Kaplan University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL Mechanical engineer for the <br />tenant improvements to 100,000 SF of office space, including Admissions, <br />Financial Aid, Student Support, Finance, Student Accounts and Academic <br />Leaders offices. The building has an employee cafeteria for 1,400 people <br />and a state -of- the -art Data Center including self sustaining capabilities for <br />complete building operations for 7 days. <br />Emergency Electrical and HVAC Upgrades to MDCPS Information <br />Technology Systems (I.T.S.) Building, Miami, FL Mechanical engineer <br />for design and construction documents for the addition of two (2) 1,000KW <br />diesel - fueled emergency generators, a new and complete electrical ser- <br />vice from Florida Power & Light, a new Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) <br />System, a web -based monitoring system and redundant air conditioning <br />systems.
