20 <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />SECTION 3 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES / TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICE: <br />3.1 <br />The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, with a qualified <br />firm(s), to supply all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to provide street lighting <br />maintenance for all roads within the limits of Sunny Isles Beach, on a quarterly maintenance <br />schedule, Group 1, and on an as-needed basis- Group 2. <br />THE FOLLOWING SCOPE OF WORK APPLIES TO GROUP 1 <br />MATERIALS AND INSPECTION CHECKLIST (GROUP 1): <br />The City has 161 light street light poles (144 on Collins Ave A1A “CA” and 17 in Sunny Isles Blvd SR <br />826 (“SB”), and 130 lights in Golden Shores (“GS”). <br />SCOPE OF MAINTENANCE Location: CA 1 – 144 <br />PASS OR FAIL <br />Location: GS 1 – 132 <br />PASS OR FAIL <br />Location: SB 1 – 17 <br />PASS OR FAIL <br />a)Check the physical condition <br />of the concrete base, T-base, <br />hand-hole cover, and base <br />fasteners. <br />b)Check the power feed to <br />the fuse to protect the luminaire. <br />c)Check the fuse and fuse <br />holder as well as their close fit. <br />Replace the fuse and fuse holder <br />as required. <br />d)Physical check of pole <br />circuit grounding. <br />e)Check the physical condition <br />of the arm and the luminaries, <br />replacing components as <br />required. <br />f)Check current feed to <br />luminaries to detect possible <br />wiring problems inside the pole <br />and arm. <br />g)Check lamp condition <br />and replace as required. <br />h)Check power door and <br />replace as required.
