until they are fully resolved. This applies to the OEM chassis, bus manufacturer and <br />vendor related warranty work. When two or more subcomponents are tied together by <br />design to create a functional system and those subcomponents are provided or installed <br />by different manufacturers, TRIPS expects the Contractor/Manufacturer to have <br />agreements in place that minimize vehicle down time due to component suppliers’ <br />warranties and processes. TRIPS reserves the right to view these agreements at any <br />time. Contractors are to coordinate with agencies to provide qualified warranty repairs <br />with minimal disruption to agencies. <br />11.0 PURCHASERS’ RESPONSIBILITY <br />Purchasers are responsible for Conducting normal inspections and scheduled <br />preventive maintenance procedures as recommended in Contractor’s maintenance <br />manuals, , to work with the contractor to develop a course of action, to make vehicles <br />available for warranty repairs and when performing in-house warranty, to complete <br />repairs in a timely manner in accordance with the determined course of action and to <br />follow parts and labor agreements. <br />12.0 WARRANTY REPORTING <br />The contractor is required to maintain a database to record any reported and actionable <br />warranty repair. Detailed warranty reports shall be provided on a quarterly basis to the <br />TRIPS Program Manager. upon request by the TRIPS Manager. <br />Detailed warranty reports shall include at a minimum: <br />1. Date of warrantable action <br />2. Cause of warrantable action <br />3. Corrective action taken <br />4. List of repair parts required for corrective action <br />5.
