class of work and shall result in a complete, neat, and finished <br />appearance. <br /> <br />d. The Contractor shall assume all costs and responsibility relative to said <br />delivery to purchaser. <br /> <br />e. The vehicle shall be delivered with all Contractor/manufacturer’s quality <br />control checklists including road test and final inspection (properly <br />completed and signed by an authorized plant representative). Other <br />documents/items required at delivery include: <br /> <br />• A copy of the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin <br />• Application for Certificate of Title <br />• Bill of Sale <br />• Warranty Papers (forms, policy, procedures) <br />• Maintenance Schedule <br />• Operators’ manual <br />• Invoice (To include contract number, P.O. number, VIN#, and agency <br />name) <br /> <br />f. If any of the items listed above are missing, defective, altered, incorrect, <br />incomplete, etc., the vehicle will be automatically rejected. Vehicle <br />Delivery Checklist (“Exhibit 6”) contains a list of the minimum required <br />items at delivery. <br /> <br />g. Delivery to Purchaser is to be completed within ten (10) calendar days of <br />receipt of vehicle at Contractor’s site. Delivery shall be determined by <br />signed receipt of the contact person or their designee, at the point of <br />delivery. Further, since a common carrier is an independent concern, any <br />delay in delivery resulting from the common carrier's operations, accident, <br />or mechanical failures on route will be considered a cause beyond the <br />control of the Contractor, provided vehicles were delivered to said carrier <br />in ample time for delivery within normal operating conditions. Odometer <br />readings cannot exceed 3,000 miles at time of final delivery of completed <br />buses to agency(s). There will be one dollar ($1.00) per mile charge for <br />each vehicle with an odometer reading in excess of 3000 miles. <br /> <br />h.
