Cape Coral Area 3 Contract II Utilities Extension <br />Project <br />City of Cape Coral, Florida <br />ROLE Ric-Man International served as the prime contractor <br />DESCRIPTION OF THE <br />SCOPE OF THE WORK <br />The project consisted of potable water, irrigation, sanitary sewer, storm water drainage, <br />and hardscape infrastructure improvements to a neighborhood composed of 844 homes <br />and 2 bridges in Cape Coral, Florida. Potable water improvements included Installing <br />39,800 feet of 6- to 8- inch PVC water main with 438 services for 734 meters, 34 fire <br />hydrants, and an aerial crossing. Irrigation improvements included installing 43,790 feet <br />of reclaimed 4- to 16- inch irrigation mains with 498 irrigation services for 844 meters, as <br />well as a 4- inch and a 16- inch aerial crossing. Storm water drainage improvements <br />included installing, 5,200 feet of 15- to 36-Inch HDPE & PVC main, 400 feet of 12x18- to <br />24x38-Inch elliptical HDPE main, and 127 Inlet structures. Sanitary sewer improvements <br />Included installing 41,100 feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer mains up to 16-feet deep <br />including 98 manholes structures and 540 single and double services, 2 wastewater lift <br />stations, and 5,620 feet of force main.
