38 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Updated August 2018 <br />SITE CONTROL <br /> <br />The purpose of site control is to minimize potential contact with tasks and materials, heavy equipment <br />operations etc. <br /> <br /> We need to protect the public from site hazards and prevent vandalism. The degree of site control <br />necessary depends on the site characteristics, site size and the surroundings community. <br /> <br />Controlled work areas will be established directly prior to work begin conducted. <br /> <br /> Diagrams designating specific controlled work areas will be drawn on site maps posted in the support <br />vehicles or office trailer and discussed during safety meetings.
