Installation <br />of 106 ft long prefabricated bridge across State <br />Rd. 826 <br /> <br />South Miami Heights – Phase A D/B <br />Owner: MDWASD – $17,953,664.33 <br />Reference: Alexis Valdes 786-268-5322 <br />Role: Design-Build Manager <br />Scope of work included the surveying, <br />geotechnical investigations, locating existing <br />utilities, engineering and design work, technical <br />specifications, permitting and construction of <br />approximately 63,336 linear feet of 8-inch ductile <br />iron water main pipe and fittings; 8,421 linear feet <br />of 12-inch ductile iron water main pipe and fittings; <br />4,327 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron water main <br />pipe and fittings; and 5,550 linear feet of 6-inch <br />ductile iron water main pipe and fittings. As well as <br />fire hydrant assemblies, approximately 664 dual <br />water services and approximately 40 single water <br />services with approximately 1,368 water service <br />conversions from rear to front. <br /> <br />Miracle Mile/Giralda Ave Streetscape CMAR <br />Owner: City of Coral Gables – $21 million (2016- <br />2018) <br />Reference: Peter Iglesias <br />Role: Senior Project Manager <br />Construction of new curb, gutter, drainage, and <br />other infrastructure assessment and <br />improvements along both sides of the full length of <br />Miracle Mile. Street improvements including <br />paving, striping and signage. Street design <br />included a restructuring of on-street parking from <br />diagonal to parallel. Widening of existing <br />sidewalks including ADA accessible ramps, expand <br />sidewalk design, sidewalk elements and mid-block <br />mini parks. Installation of ornamental lights and <br />pedestrian lighting, pavement marking restoration <br />and site furnishings <br /> <br />Sunset Island III and IV D/B <br />Owner: City of Miami Beach - $10,910,593.00 <br />Reference: Jeff Crews (954) 481-2812 x 235 <br />Role: Construction Manager <br />Project consisted in the design and construction of <br />two stormwater pump stations each in excess of <br />180hp. Over 7,000 feet of stormwater collection <br />system up to 72-inch pipe and 118 drainage <br />structures. The project also included 7,270 feet of <br />new 8-inch water main, undergrounding of <br />franchise utilities (i.e. FP&L), gravity sewer <br />rehabilitation, street lighting and reconstruct and <br />raising of the roads. <br /> <br />Springtree WWTP On-Site & Off-Site Drainage & <br />Utilities Improvements <br />Owner: City of Sunrise – $2.8 million <br />Reference: Tim Welch 954-888-6055 <br />Role: Senior Project Manager <br />Installation of over 1,500 LF of Drainage pipe and <br />structures up to 42” in Dia. Installation of 2,500 LF <br />of new 8” watermain and hydrants. Installation of <br />1,000 LF of new Reclaim water force-main ranging <br />from 6” to 16” in Diameter. Full pavement and <br />roadway reconstruction. Lake expansion and <br />outfall installation safe disposal of over 1,600 CY of <br />contaminated soil Completed 3 months ahead of <br />schedule. <br /> <br />Section 5 Project 48‐Inch PCCP ‐ NW 72nd Ave <br />from NW 8th St thru NW 12 St For <br />Condotte/Community/De Moya Joint Venture <br />Owner: MDWASD – $450,000 <br />Reference: Nelson Cespedes 305-607-0799 <br />Role: Senior Construction Manager <br />Project consisted of 48" PCCP including restrained <br />pipe, fittings, closures and connections to existing <br />48" PCCP. The path of the pipe was on NW 72nd <br />Ave a 6-lane road with extreme heavy traffic. <br />Several businesses existed along the path <br />requiring difficult coordination and access at all <br />times. The worked involved; critical demolition of <br />existing PCCP, removing sewage from existing <br />pipe, sheeting and shoring, extensive de-watering, <br />deep excavations, installation of access manholes <br />and air releases, dealing with heavy traffic, working <br />on weekends, nights and multiple crews. Difficult <br />utility support and crossings. The project had tight <br />time restraints due to existing lines requiring <br />minimal shut down period. We succeeded in <br />completing the Installation and connection within <br />the scheduled time frame. <br /> <br />Northeast 38th Street Reconstruction <br />Owner: City of Oakland Park – $3.4 million
