BID TITLE: BID 19 -17 -12 -HR BID NUMBER: ROOFING MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS <br />D. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for providing all necessary means and methods for securing <br />materials, equipment, temporary facilities, tools and all other associated items being used for the <br />construction of this project. Any and all preparations must begin immediately after issuance of a <br />hurricane watch by the National Hurricane Center. <br />E. The City of Sunrise will not reimburse CONTRACTOR for costs associated with hurricane preparations <br />and other weather related events. <br />SITE SAFETY AND SECURITY: <br />A. CONTRACTOR is responsible for all products, materials, equipment, tools and facilities used in, <br />incorporated into and making part of this project. <br />B. CONTRACTOR is responsible for providing security to the site, materials, products, tools, <br />equipment, facilities, and vehicles used in the process of constructing the project. <br />C. CONTRACTOR shall secure and protect from damage, all portions of the project, whether complete, <br />partly constructed, or in the process of erection. <br />D. CONTRACTOR's responsibility for security shall extend until final acceptance of the work by the <br />City. <br />E. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for all claims associated with damages, vandalism, theft, <br />robbery, or any other issue affecting acts of others, upon the work. <br />F. CONTRACTOR's responsibility for protection of the work for this contract shall cover the project for <br />the duration of the project. <br />G. In addition to the CONTRACTOR's materials, products, tools, equipment, facilities and vehicles, the <br />CONTRACTOR shall provide all requirements of the site for the duration of the project. <br />H. CONTRACTOR shall preserve and protect all existing vegetation, whether on the site, or adjacent to <br />it. <br />I. Damage to adjacent vegetation by the CONTRACTOR shall be corrected to the satisfaction of the <br />City at no cost to the City. <br />DEBRIS AND UNSUITABLE MATERIAL: <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall dispose of all debris and unsuitable materials promptly, so as to avoid <br />accumulation. <br />B. CONTRACTOR shall dispose of all debris and unsuitable material in a lawful and safe manner. <br />C. CONTRACTOR shall utilize licensed disposal sites consistent with the products, materials and types <br />of items being disposed. <br />D. CONTRACTOR shall comply with local, state and federal laws in disposing debris and unsuitable <br />materials. <br />E. Fines, or levis for non-compliance with all applicable laws affecting the disposal of debris and <br />unsuitable materials shall be the CONTRACTOR's responsibility. <br />Revised 6/27/18 Page 5 <br />
