BID TITLE: BID 19 -17 -12 -HR BID NUMBER: ROOFING MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS <br />SECTION 07512 — BUILT-UP ROOFING SINGLE MEMBRANE AND <br />MISCELLANEOUS ROOF REPAIR <br />(Continued) <br />PART 1 — GENERAL (Continued) <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. PRODUCT DATA: <br />As requested by the CITY REPRESENTATIVE submit manufacturer's product <br />specifications, installation instructions and general recommendations for each <br />principal roofing system is to be used for. Include data substantiating that materials <br />comply with requirements, including certificates and delivery logs for bulk materials, <br />and records on field testing to indicate the performance, fabrication procedures, and <br />variations and accessories. <br />B. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS <br />Provide pre-printed maintenance instructions for the roof coating system. <br />1.05 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. GENERAL: <br />Handle and store roofing system products in a manner which will ensure no <br />possibility of significant moisture pickup. Store in a dry, well ventilated, weatherproof <br />place. Do not leave unprotected materials on roof overnight. Store rolls of felt and <br />other sheet materials on end. <br />Roof Loading: <br />Do not store materials on roof decks, nor position roofing installation <br />equipment on roof decks, in concentrations exceeding design live <br />loading. <br />B. Deliver materials to jobsite in new, dry, unopened, and well -marked containers <br />showing product and manufacturer's name. <br />1.06 JOB CONDITIONS <br />A. WEATHER CONDITIONS: <br />Proceed with roofing system installation only when existing and forecasted weather <br />conditions are favorable and will allow work to proceed in accordance with <br />requirements and recommendations of manufacturers of primary roofing system <br />materials. <br />B. FIELD MEASUREMENTS AND MATERIAL QUANTITIES: <br />The CONTRACTOR shall have sole responsibility for accuracy of all measurements, <br />estimates of material quantities and sizes, and site conditions that will affect work. <br />C. EXISTING CONDITIONS: <br />1. Building space directly under roof area covered by this specification will be <br />utilized by ongoing operations. Do not interrupt City of Sunrise operations <br />unless prior written approval is received from City of Sunrise. <br />2.
