BID TITLE: BID 19 -17 -12 -HR BID NUMBER: ROOFING MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS <br />SECTION 07512 — BUILT-UP ROOFING SINGLE MEMBRANE AND <br />MISCELLANEOUS ROOF REPAIR <br />(Continued) <br />PART 3 — EXECUTION (Continued) <br />A. REPAIR OF DEFICIENCIES: <br />1. Installations of details noted as deficient during final inspection <br />must be repaired and corrected by applicator, and made ready for <br />re -inspection. <br />B. CLEANUP: <br />1. Immediately upon job completion, roof membrane and flashing <br />surfaces shall be cleaned of debris. <br />3.09 PATCHING SINGLE PLY MEMBRANE <br />A. Refer to Pay Item No. 2, 3 & 4 and Drawing No. 2, glue/epoxy the entire patch as <br />per manufacturer's specifications. After the patch cools, check the entire <br />surrounding perimeter of the patch for any voids. <br />All areas to be patched must be clean and dry. <br />2. When patching over a seam highlight the underlying seam edge. <br />3. Patches are to be uniform, rectangular with rounded corners and a <br />minimum of six inches (6") in width. <br />4. Whenever a seam requires multiple patches to the point where it <br />becomes aesthetically displeasing, a minimum four inch (4") wide <br />capping or tape strip should be applied over the incorrectly installed <br />seam. <br />END OF SECTION 07512 <br />Revised 6/27/18 Page 21 <br />
