Field measure site conditions prior to fabricating work. <br />B. Fabricate with required connection pieces. <br />C. Form sections square, true, and accurate in size, in maximum possible lengths <br />and free of distortion or defects detrimental to appearance or performance. <br />(Allow for expansion.) <br />D. Hem exposed edges of metal. <br />E. Fabricate gutter and downspout accessories; seal watertight. <br />3.01 EXAMINATION <br />A. Verify that surfaces are ready to receive work and conditions are ready for <br />installation. <br />B. Beginning of installation means acceptance of existing conditions or substrate. <br />3.02 INSTALLATION <br />A. Install gutters, downspouts, and accessories (in accordance with the <br />manufacturer's instruction) with fasteners and attachments meeting the standards <br />for wind resistance equal to or better than Factory Mutual Class 1-90. <br />B. Join lengths with seams watertight. Flash and seal gutters to downspouts and <br />accessories. <br />C. Apply backing paint to metal back surfaces. <br />D.
