BID TITLE: BID 19 -17 -12 -HR BID NUMBER: ROOFING MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS <br />delivery is not made on or before the time(s) specified. In the event Vendor fails to make <br />timely delivery, City shall have the right to purchase elsewhere and unless they delay was <br />caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond Vendor's control, Vendor shall reimburse <br />City for any additional charges incurred. <br />On-Call/Emergency Services <br />Contractor shall be available for emergency call and respond on site within two (2) hours <br />after being notified by the City of Sunrise, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, including <br />holidays. Normal working hours are Monday - Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding <br />City holidays). <br />Any work performed outside the normal working hours or on Contractor's recognized <br />holidays will be billed at an overtime up charge. This up charge will be added as a <br />percentage increase to the contracted rate in the bid for all such overtime work. If an <br />unreasonable or excessive percentage rate is provided on this up charge contingency item, <br />the bid will be subject to a determination of being unbalanced and will subject the complete <br />bid to rejection as deemed in the best interest of the City as determined by the Purchasing <br />Division. Contractor should attach with the bid a list of all holidays for which an over -time <br />up charge will be applied. <br />Special Provisions <br />The Contractor may be required to respond to on-call/emergency services at multiple <br />facilities at any one time and, as such, should be adequately staffed to respond to at least <br />three (3) requested locations in a timely manner. <br />Contractor's employee(s) shall be required to carry photo identification at all times <br />identifying such person(s) as an authorized employee of the Contractor. Contractor's <br />employees shall exhibit a professional behavior at all times on City property. <br />Contractor's employee(s) shall be solely responsible for safeguarding of tools, materials <br />and equipment brought into any facility. The Contractor's employee will be required to verify <br />possession of all tools before entering and departing the facility. <br />Debris caused by work under this Contract shall be cleaned up and properly disposed of <br />by the Contractor prior to leaving the premises. <br />The awarded Contractor shall comply with all current mandates of OSHA, NFPA, NEC <br />2005, Florida Building Codes, UL listings, all local building codes and any other required <br />laws, codes, standards, safety that would apply to any required work. <br />3.11 SAMPLES <br />Not applicable to this bid. <br />3.12 WARRANTIES / GUARANTEES <br />Vendor warrants that the materials, goods, services and/or workmanship furnished and/or <br />delivered pursuant to the Purchase Order shall: <br />Conform in all respects to the description, drawings and specifications contained in <br />this Bid <br />Revised 6/27/18 Page 34 <br />
