CITYWIDE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCESERVICES <br />3) Project Approach <br />A. Scope of Services and Technical Requirements <br />Scope of Services: <br />1. Supervision, Labor, Equipment, Materials, and Fuel:Superior Landscaping & Lawn Service Inc. will <br />provide comprehensive mowing maintenance, encompassing supervision, labor, equipment, materials, <br />and fuel. This includes ensuring all operations are performed efficiently and effectively. <br />2. Boundaries:We acknowledge the specified service boundaries in City of Sunny Isles Beach. A detailed <br />understanding and adherence to these boundaries will guide our operations. <br />3. Description:Our team will perform mowing, edging, blowing, string trimming, or hand mowing, <br />cleaning of inlets and outlets of retention/detention areas and drainage systems, crack weed spraying, <br />and trimming of encroaching brush or low-hanging limbs. This ensures allCounty-owned parcels, vacant <br />lots, roadsides, and right-of-ways are maintained to the highest standards. <br />4. Mowing Quality Control Inspector:Designated Quality Control Inspectors (QCI) from our team will <br />oversee all aspects of the project. They will ensure work performance meets specifications, notify the <br />County when work begins and ends, and submit a signed checklist with the final invoice. QCIs will be <br />empowered to act on all daily operational matters and will be available during business hours to discuss <br />any issues. <br />5. Qualified Technicians:We will deploy fully qualified technicians to carry out the required grounds <br />maintenance and mowing services, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism. <br />6. Personnel Appearance:All personnel will present a neat appearance, wearing distinctive clothing or <br />badges bearing the company and employee name for easy recognition. <br />7. Vehicle Operators Licenses:All vehicle operators will possess valid Florida operator’s licenses <br />appropriate for the vehicles they operate, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. <br />8. Quality Control Plan and Checklist:We will establish and maintain a quality control plan, using the <br />County-provided checklist to ensure all services meet the contract requirements. This checklist will be <br />completed, signed by the QCI, and accompany the invoice for payment. <br />9. Standards of Service:Our services will align with City of Sunny Isles Beachstandards, reflecting the <br />competence expected of a leading grounds maintenance firm. <br />10. Hours of Work:Work will be conducted between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through <br />Saturday, avoiding Sundays and County-recognized holidays unless special permission is granted. <br />| Page <br /> <br />
