Mowing Standards:Grass will be uniformly cut to 4 inches +/-one half inch, with appropriate <br />methods for areas inaccessible to large mowers. Efforts will be made to prevent scalping or shaving of <br />grass surfaces. All grass clippings will be removed from sidewalks using power blowers before leaving <br />the site. <br />12. Uniformity and Right of Way:Mowing will ensure smooth transitions and uniform cuts, avoiding <br />accumulation or piling of cuttings. Right of way areas will be mowed from fence line to fence line, with <br />clear definitions established before work begins. <br />13. Edging:Edging will remove all weeds, sand, vegetation, debris, and plant material from specified <br />edges, creating a distinct void and maintaining an attractive, manicured appearance. String trimmers will <br />not be used for edging. <br />14. Inlet and Outlet Structures:These structures will be kept free of sand and vegetation to ensure <br />proper drainage. Our team will ensure accessibility and functionality of these systems. <br />15. Weed, String, and Grass Trimmers:These tools will be used in areas inaccessible to mowing <br />equipment, ensuring no shaving or scalping of grass surfaces. Trimming will accompany mowing <br />activities. <br />16. Encroaching or Low Hanging Brush:We will trim brush or tree limbs encroaching on sidewalks or <br />handrails up to a height of 10ft, ensuring clear pathways. <br />17. Herbicide Treatment:Herbicide treatment for crack weed control will follow manufacturer <br />instructions, with Round-Up or equivalent products used. Dead vegetation will be removed as part of <br />the contract cost. <br />18. Peak Season:Our team will be particularly vigilant during peak season (March 1 to October 31) to <br />ensure consistent service quality. <br />19. Retention Areas:Retention areas will be mowed from fence lines to water’s edge, including a 10ft <br />pass around the outside of the retention pond fence and string trimming the entire fence line. Trash will <br />be removed from the water’s edge. <br />20. Litter & Debris Removal:Litter and debris will be removed before and after each service visit. This <br />includes all materials that may detract from the property’s appearance. <br />21. Inability to Maintain:We will inform the County immediately if any areas cannot be maintained due <br />to blockage or debris, ensuring no areas are left uncut without express authorization. <br />22. Damage Prevention and Responsibility:Care will be taken to avoid damage to facilities and <br />structures.
