Synovus has existing relationships with multiple vendors to assist the Cityin obtaining a contract for courier service. Armored courier services are contracted between the Cityand the armored courier company. Cash Processing Services- Commercial Cash Pickup and Deposit Processing: Cash deposits are picked up by an armored car service. The cash pickups are regularly scheduled at times agreed upon between the armored car service and the customer. The armored car service transports the cash to a regional processing center for deposit into a Synovus Bank account. Cash only deposits receive next business day credit, for same day credit, the Citywould need to work with armored courier to ensure delivery by 10 am cutoff. Bulk coin deposits receive credit in 2 business days. On-site smart safes can be utilized to minimize courier runs and expedite cash deposit credit. Currency is fed into a bill accepter on the machine and deposits are electronically transmitted to the bank. Funds in the safe are extracted and couriered to the bank on an agreed- upon frequency, however credit is given even while the deposits reside in the safe. Cash Processing Services - Commercial Change Order Services: Coin and currency in any denomination and quantity are ordered conveniently by internet.
