5.Each Synovus business unit updates Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and Business Continuity <br />Plans (BCPs) annually. The BCPs document roles and responsibilities, critical business processes, <br />dependencies, third-party relationships and criticality, Recovery Time Objectives / Recovery Point <br />Objectives, and upstream / downstream impacts. Plans and associated call trees are updated <br />regularly and are tested at least annually <br />6.Synovus maintains business continuity and emergency communication systems that are available <br />and utilized during network outage and emergency response events such as hurricanes and winter <br />storms <br />7.Applications are risk assessed and documented disaster recovery plans are updated regularly and <br />tested at least annually for higher risk systems <br />8.Ongoing due diligence and monitoring is performed on vendor-hosted or vendor-managed <br />applications and/or processes. Third-party disaster recovery plans and business continuity <br />programs are reviewed regularly as part of the Third-Party Risk Management program <br />K.PositivePay: <br />Detail if payee match is part of positive pay. <br />Payee Positive Pay gives an even higher level of fraud protection by requiring the payee’s name to <br />be included in the issue file. If we receive any checksthat are not in the issue file or do not match <br />data in the file, we present them to you for “pay/no pay” decisions. This service extends to the <br />teller line, preventing checks from being cashed in Synovus banking centers. <br />When addressing positive pay, address procedure for verification when City is closed for business. <br />Positive Pay Process and Time Windows <br />For Check andACH Positive Pay, if there is a discrepancy with a presented item (posts to account), an <br />exception will be identified. Exceptions are delivered to the City via Synovus Gatewayby 10:00 AM ET <br />each business day. Each “User” who is authorized to make pay/no pay decisions can set up alerts that <br />will notify them when there are exceptions to be decisioned. The City’s pay/no pay decisions must be <br />completed by 2:00 PM ET each day. Synovus Gateway can be accessed using a computer, tablet, or <br />mobile phone to complete positive pay decisions.If a decision is not made on an exception during the <br />decision window, then the default decision of no-pay is applied.
