A26. It appears that area has already been demolished. <br />Q27. What are the 3 small rectangular hashed areas south of the parking lot on the <br />demo plan? <br />A27. Some elements were captured by the survey team prior to demolition of the old sales <br />center. Site investigation is required to verify if these items have been removed or not. <br />Q28. There is a large round concrete slab, possibly a light pole base at the NW corner <br />of the existing parking lot that is not indicated on the plan. Please describe the disposition of <br />this item. <br />A28. This needs to be removed. It is an old base for a statue. <br />Q29. There is what appears to be a large electric vault, covered in artificial turf, that is <br />not indicated on the demo plan. Please describe the disposition of this item. <br />A29. This needs to be removed. <br />Q30. Will the seawall work by others be completed prior to start of work for this <br />contract? <br />A30. We anticipate the seawall work to start prior to the work for this contract. <br />Q31. Please provide fixture schedule for site lighting. <br />A31 . A new sheet E-001-Eelctrical Symbols, Specifications, Fixture Schedules has been added <br />which show the specification for the site lighting. <br />Q32. Structural notes call for pile design load capacity of 40 tons per pile and a requirement for <br />compression and tension testing. Geotech recommends compression test at 80 kips. Pile <br />subcontractor indicates that compression testing is very costly. Please confirm that pile <br />compression testing IS or IS NOT required. <br />A32 . Pile Compression testing is not required for piles with an allowable compression of 80 <br />kips or less. <br />Q33. We find no indication that the specified piles are tension piles. Please confirm that pile <br />tension tests ARE or ARE NOT required. <br />A33. There are no tension piles for this project. Pile tension tests not required. <br />Q34. Regarding the drainage well, does the City have a Reasonable Assurance Report required <br />for permitting? If not, is the City or the contractor to provide the report? <br />A34. Well contractor to provide Reasonable Assurance Report. <br />Q35. Provide the light pole detail/spec for the site lighting. <br />A35 . A new sheet E-001-Eelctrical Symbols, Specifications, Fixture Schedules has been added <br />which show the specification for the site lighting. Please also refer to the new sheets E-801 & <br />E-802 that were added to show the details for the site lighting. <br />Q36. Page AS .00 Detail 2 shows a callout for "WT4".
