PROPOSAL TO FURNISH PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />CONTINUING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />NEW STRUCTURE AT TOWN CENTER PARK <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA <br />Date: 17 July 2024 <br />Submitted to: Mr. Richard Labinsky, PE Project: New Structure at <br />17200 Collins Ave. <br />Architect's Project No. 2431 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Project No. Pending <br />The Architect: RODRIGUEZ ARCHITECTS, INC. <br />2121 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Suite 1260 <br />Coral Gables, Florida 33134 <br />Is pleased to provide: <br />The client: City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Public Works Dept. <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />The following is request for approval of fees for Basic Architectural/Engineering Services, per the Contract as indicated above. <br />SECTION 1 - PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />The project location is 17200 Collins Avenue known as Town Center Park. The site is a well -used recreational space <br />with an existing one-story precast concrete trailer -type building containing two (2) single -use restrooms and covered <br />storage space. The existing building and associated footings will be demolished and all existing utilities shall be capped <br />near the new building pad for reconnection. The adjacent parking lot will remain unchanged and is not part of this <br />Scope of Work. <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach would like to erect a new building, with a maximum footprint of 2,000 sq. ft. to house <br />four (4) single use restrooms, storage, maintenance and IT space and a new covered vending deck. The new structure <br />will be unconditioned space, except for the IT closet which will be cooled by a wall mounted mini -split A/C. RAI will <br />provide complete Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services for a complete <br />design, including all interior fixture and finish selections. We will provide the City of Sunny Isles Beach a fully <br />permittable set of detailed construction documents and provide construction administration for the life of the project <br />to ensure its success. <br />SECTION 2 - SCOPE OF WORK: <br />The A/E will assist The City of Sunny Isles in accomplishing project goals by providing Professional A/E basic services as <br />per our Agreement. <br />The Scope of Work assumes the following: <br />1. A new one-story structure to meet the requirements of the 2023 Florida Building Code. The new structure <br />will house: <br />• Max. 2,000 sq. ft., <br />• Four (4) Uni-Sex (single -use) Toilet Rooms, <br />• Covered Seating/ Vending Deck, <br />• Maintenance / Storage Area and IT closet (with mini -split). <br />2. Design of the new masonry walls, concrete beams and roof structure. <br />3. Design and selection of new toilet room fixtures and finishes, selection of all interior and exterior finishes. <br />The new structure will be ADA accessible. <br />The sub -consultants will be as follows: <br />Structural Engineers: DDA Engineers, P.A. <br />Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Engineers: SDM Engineers, Inc. <br />RODRIGUEZ ARCHITECTS, INC. <br />
