Proposal to Furnish Professional Services <br />City of Sunny Isles — Town Center Park <br />New Building <br />Architect's Project No. 2431 <br />Page Two <br />SECTION 3 - BASIC SERVICES (per continuing contract agreement): <br />Phase II — Preliminary Design Services <br />• Includes one design review meeting with Staff. <br />Phase III - Construction Documents Services <br />• Includes construction cost estimate. <br />Phase IV - Bidding and Permitting Services <br />Phase V - Construction Administration Services <br />• Includes regularly scheduled bi-weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings. <br />Not included in Basic Fee: <br />• Testing of existing concrete foundations for adequacy of use <br />• Site Design (City has contracted separately with KEITH for surveying, civil and landscaping design) <br />SECTION 4 — PRELIMINARY ESTIMATE based on initial site information: <br />$600,000.00 +/- <br />SECTION 6 - PROPOSED SCHEDULE: <br />Complete Project Schedule: <br />• Field Investigation —1 week <br />• Design/Constructign Documents —100% —10 weeks <br />• Bidding -Permitting -4 weeks <br />• Construction Administration — 9 months <br />SECTION 7 - COMPENSATION: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach, FL shall pay the Architect for the Basic Services as described above a Stipulated Fixed <br />Sum of Forty -Five Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($45,250.00). <br />The proposed fee is applicable to each phase of the services as follows: <br />Preliminary Design 10% $4,525.00 <br />Construction Documents —100% 70% $31,676.00 <br />Bidding -Permitting 5% $2,262.00 <br />Construction Administration 15% $6,787.00 <br />Total: $45,250.00 <br />Additional Services (if needed — NTE) $5,000.00 <br />(includes asbestos surveys, geotechnical reports, test bores, etc.) <br />Reimbursables (NTE) $1,000.00 <br />Total: $6,000.00 <br />Grand Total: <br />submitted; <br />Z ARCHITECTS, INC <br />$51,250.00 <br />RODRIGUEZ ARCHITECTS, INC. <br />
