RFP #:24-08-01 Proposer: Midtown Towing of Miami, Inc. SERVICES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - 1 — COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: Midtown Towing uses the Omadi and TowBook dispatch system with fully enabled GPS. Though most of our wreckers are equipped with Motorola 900 MHz Digital 2 -way radios with GPS tracking, Midtown Towing uses current smartphone two-way radio application technology to communicate more efficiently with our drivers. Midtown Towing can see the location of any truck in our fleet via computer at any given time. The system maintains a history of our fleet's travels and can be recalled for our examination at any given moment. These GPS records are retained indefinitely. The headquarter facility has a 5 -line analog phone system with Comcast Voice Edge. Our communications network is attached to a backup generator to ensure that there is no interruption of service. Midtown Towing will advise the City of Sunny Isles Beach and its Code Enforcement Department of any changes to our communication system including the addition of any new phone numbers to our existing system. 2 — PRIMARY STORAGE AREA: Our primary facility, located at 15700 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, FL 33169, is 4.23 miles from Sunny Isles and has an outside storage capacity for more than 140 vehicles. Our secondary facility, located at 6230 W 21st Court, Hialeah, FL 33016 has an outside storage capacity for more than 90 vehicles. Although not intended for use during this contract, this facility is available as needed. The yards are properly enclosed by a six-foot chain-link fence and/or concrete wall, and is maintained and kept clear of overgrown vegetation and auto parts/junk tires, etc. The yards have sufficient lighting to provide a clear view of any persons or vehicles at a distance of 150 feet as required. 3 — INDOOR STORAGE FACILITY: Midtown Towing has two warehouses at the 15700 NW 7th Avenue, Miami FL 33169 location which are secured at all times from unauthorized persons. These warehouses will accommodate all inside storage requirements for the City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department as required by this contract. The under -roof square footage is approximately 11,775 sq ft. The warehouses will accommodate more than the vehicle requirement of your department (approximated indoor storage capacity of up to 40 vehicles). Additional details include: • The secured inside storage area is used only for the safe, secure and clean storage of evidentiary vehicles. • The floor is concrete and is clean of debris, standing water and vegetation. • The secure area is approximately 3,500 square feet. This area is lighted and has a 20 -foot ceiling height. • There are adequate electrical outlets to ensure the processing of vehicles. • There are fixed electric -powered window -mounted exhaust fans for ventilation. • Midtown Towing is the only business operating at this business address.
