RFP #:24-08-01 Proposer: Midtown Towing of Miami, Inc. vehicle and transfers ownership of the vehicle to Midtown Towing, we shall waive all towing and service fees related to that vehicle. 17 — AUCTION OF ABANDONED / UNCLAIMED VEHICLES: All vehicles slated for auction must first be approved by the City. In cases where Midtown Towing auctions abandoned/unclaimed vehicles, the City has a right to bid on such vehicles and may obtain title to any such vehicle, provided there are no other bidders. The City shall designate a representative of the Police Department to track the auctions of abandoned/unclaimed vehicles and make the appropriate bidding. Midtown Towing shall notify the Police Department Towing Permit Coordinator of all abandoned/unclaimed vehicles prior to auctions. Midtown Towing shall not charge the City any towing charges associated with those abandoned/unclaimed vehicles where the City opts to take ownership of such vehicle(s). 18 — EQUIPMENT: Midtown Towing understands that ownership of required equipment delineated in this Agreement is not required; however, legally binding signed agreements covering leasing or cooperative use of the required equipment must be presented on the City's demand. Equipment leased or cooperative leased must be available for Midtown Towing to utilize on a priority basis and each respective lease operative equipment agreement Midtown Towing files with the Police Department shall clearly identify Midtown Towing's priority. Midtown Towing shall have available the following types of equipment: A. WRECKERS (Tow Trucks) — • Midtown Towing shall provide proof of registration and appropriate license to operate wreckers/tow trucks. • Midtown Towing's tow license number shall be displayed on the front of the vehicle in letters at least three (3) inches high. • Midtown Towing's name shall be displayed on the driver and passenger side of the vehicle in letters at least three (3) inches high. • Midtown Towing's address and telephone number shall be displayed in letters at least one (1) inch high. • Midtown Towing shall produce proof of ownership or valid 1St party lease of the required number of Class "A", Class "B", Class "C", Class "D" and slide back carriers. • All equipment shall be maintained in a state of readiness for response as delineated in this Agreement and be for the sole use of Midtown Towing. • Midtown Towing shall maintain no markings on vehicles, buildings or correspondence that indicates or tends to indicate any official relationship between Midtown Towing and the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the Police Department, Miami -Dade County or any government agency.
