RFP #:24-08-01 <br />Proposer: Midtown Towing of Miami, Inc. <br />• Two (2) flood lights to rear; <br />• Sand (50 pounds minimum) <br />• Heavy Duty sweeping broom (24" wide); <br />• Two (2) safety cones (day -glow orange, 3 feet high); <br />• One (1) set of three (3) reflectors; <br />• Six (6() thirty -minute flares; <br />• Flat shovel; <br />• Axe; <br />• Fire extinguisher 5 pounds dry chemical Underwriter approved; <br />• First Aid Kit — minimum 16 units; and <br />• At least one (1) mirror positioned to reflect to the driver a view for a distance of at least 200 feet <br />to the rear of the towing vehicle. <br />19 — RECORDS AND FILES: <br />Midtown Towing shall maintain, at our place of business, a file that will contain the following legible, public <br />records: <br />A. A Vehicle Storage Receipt (yellow and goldenrod copies) for each impounded vehicle on its premises, <br />proof of ownership notification and invoice of charges for all vehicles released. Once the release occurs, <br />the yellow copy is to be returned to the Police Department with appropriate information including the <br />name, address and telephone number of the individual to whom each vehicle was released. This <br />information must legibly appear on both the yellow and goldenrod copies. Midtown Towing shall retain <br />the goldenrod copy and maintain all files sequentially in accordance with the police case number. <br />B. A log of all service calls by the Police Department, Community Planning and Development Department <br />and Public Works Department on a weekly basis. <br />C. An Impound/Notification Log, indicating the date, time and method of notification to the registered <br />owner of an impounded vehicle, as well as other requested information as specified in the City's <br />Administrative Regulations 110-6. <br />D. A log indicating the vehicles to be auctioned, date of auction, name, address of owner and lienholder, and <br />date contacted. <br />E. A log indicating the vehicles sold at auction, date auction notice was published, proceeds of auction and <br />distribution of proceeds. <br />F. Midtown Towing shall be responsible for forwarding the following items to the Police Department by <br />3:00 PM EST each Friday: <br />a. Copies of all Vehicle Storage Receipts for vehicles released the previous week, together with a <br />copy of the completed numbered invoice for each vehicle; <br />b. Original log of all calls for service by the Police Department; <br />c. Original log of all vehicles with Police Holds in the custody of Midtown Towing; <br />d. Original Impound/Notification Log for the previous week; <br />e. Original log completed prior to vehicle options; <br />f. Copy of Public Notice of Auction (10 days prior to auction); and <br />g.
