Safety glass products are to comply with ANSI Z97.1 and testing requirements of 16 CFR <br />Part 1201 for Category II materials. <br /> <br />1. Subject to compliance with requirements, provide safety glass permanently <br />marked with certification label of Safety Glazing Certification Council (SGCC) or <br />other certification agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction. <br /> <br />C. Single-source fabrication responsibility: All glass fabricated for each type shall be <br />processed and supplied by a single fabricator. <br /> <br />D. Glass fabricator to have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience and meet <br />ANSI/ISO/ASQC (American Society for Quality Control) 9002-1994. <br /> <br />E. Label each unit of glass with manufacturer's sticker showing quality, grade, thickness and <br />type of glass. <br /> <br />1. Labels shall remain in place until acceptance by the A/E. <br /> <br />2. Each panel of tempered glass shall bear the manufacturer's trademark. <br /> <br />1.5 WARRANTY <br /> <br />A. Provide written 10-year warranty from date of manufacture for all glass and glazing. <br /> <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS <br /> <br />A. Except as otherwise specified, provide glass from one of the following: <br /> <br />1. E.S. Windows <br /> <br />2. Guardian Industries Corp. <br /> <br />3. Libby Owens Ford Co. (LOF). <br /> <br />4. PPG Industries. <br />
