Temporary Shower Facility: A pre-fabricated or site-built temporary shower facility, with <br />hot and cold water to shower head that can be controlled from inside shower, shall be <br />installed and used by all workers. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 PROTECTION <br /> <br />A. General: <br /> <br />1. Take appropriate continuous measures as necessary to protect all building <br />occupants from exposure to asbestos fibers. Such measures shall include the <br />procedures and methods described herein, and shall be in accordance with <br />regulations and guidelines of applicable Federal, State, and local agencies. <br /> <br />2. Securing the Work Area: Secure the work area from access by the public, <br />occupants, staff, or users of the building. <br /> <br />a. Provide and maintain temporary partitions to prevent spread of dust, <br />fumes, odors, and noise to permit continued University occupancy. <br />b. Demarcate the regulated work area, as required by OSHA regulation 29 <br />CFR 1926.1101, by posting warning signs at each locked door and at the <br />entrance to the change room leading to the regulated area as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />c. Provide labels affixed to all asbestos waste containers, as required by <br />OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1926.1101, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />3. Do not block, or reduce width, of egress to exits. <br /> <br />4. Conduct operations with minimum interference to corridors, exits, and public <br />thoroughfares. <br /> <br />5.
