The Contractor shall coordinate the required work of other trades well in advance of concrete <br />work. It shall install the work of other trades in accordance with the approved shop drawings <br />or as directed by Engineer. <br /> <br />3.2 CONSTRUCTION METHODS <br /> <br />A. The Contractor shall furnish and install concrete and related work as indicated on the <br />Contract Drawings the FDOT’s Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges. <br /> <br />3.3 REPAIRS AND PROTECTION <br /> <br />A. The Contractor shall protect all concrete from damage. It shall exclude traffic from paving for <br />at least 14 days after placement. When construction traffic is permitted, the Contractor shall <br />maintain the paving as clean as possible by removing surface stains and spillage of materials <br />as they occur. <br /> <br />3.4 CONTROLLED DENSITY FILL <br /> <br />A. Be “Type E”, excavatable. <br /> <br />B. Maximum compressive strength of 1,500 psi. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
