Saw cut and remove wall sections, pavement and/or cutting slurry. <br />1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Contractor shall be qualified/ experienced in cone. Saw cutting of this type. <br />B. Comply with governing codes and regulations. <br /> <br />C. Contractor shall have full responsibility for the location, dimension and accuracy of <br />all saw cuts. Deviation of cut line or dimension of cuts by more than ¼" will be <br />repaired entirely at the Contractor's expense. <br /> <br />D. Overcutting at corners will not be allowed. <br />1.3 DOCUMENTS <br />A. Permit for transpoli and disposal of debris. <br /> <br />B. Cutting procedures and operational sequence for review and acceptance. <br /> <br />1.4 JOB CONDITIONS <br /> <br />A. Protection: <br /> <br />1. Erect barriers to protect personnel and adjacent structures. <br /> <br />2. Protect all components of the structure to remain from damage during the saw <br />cutting operation. <br /> <br />3. Verify that any embedment in the cutting path may be cut and that any <br />embedded electrical service is disconnected from power supply. <br /> <br />4. Prior to beginning the cut locate all reinforcement in the area of the cut and verify <br />that the location of the cutting lines will not split any piece of reinforcement. <br />Propose and receive approval of an alternative cut location if required. <br /> <br />5. Ensure adequate shoring of cut material to protect personnel, adjacent <br />structures and plant equipment. <br /> <br />PART 2 – PRODUCTS – NOT USED <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.1 SUMMARY <br /> <br /> <br />
