Do not install solvent curing sealants in enclosed building spaces. <br /> <br />B. Maintain temperature and humidity recommended by the sealant manufacturer during and <br />after installation. <br /> <br />1.7 SEQUENCING AND SCHEDULING <br /> <br />A. Coordinate work under provisions of Section General Conditions and Section 01 33 00. <br /> <br />B. Coordinate the work of this Section with all Sections referencing this Section. <br /> <br />1.8 WARRANTY <br /> <br />A. Provide a five (5) year warranty on materials and workmanship. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 MANUFACTURERS <br /> <br />A. Tremco <br /> <br />B. Pecora <br /> <br />C. Dap <br /> <br />D. Dow <br /> <br />E. General Electric <br /> <br />2.2 SEALANTS <br /> <br />A. Sealant for interior use between joints and unlike materials: Silicone, conform to TT-S-002306, <br />ASTM C920, FS TT-S-01543, Type II, Class A, low modular type. Provide a one (1) part acrylic- <br />based sealant conforming to ASTM C834, equal to “AC-20+ Silicone” made by Pecora or equal <br />by one of the above listed manufactures. Colors: Custom colors of sealant as selected by the <br />Architect. Assume three (3) different colors for interior. <br /> <br />B. Sealant at fire rated walls, around pipe, conduit, and other wall penetrations: Dow Corning <br />Fire Stop sealant, floor/wall penetration seal design System 129, UL classified. <br /> <br />2.3 ACCESSORIES <br /> <br />A. Primer: Non-staining type, recommended by sealant manufacturer to suit application. <br /> <br />B. Joint Cleaner: Non-corrosive and non-staining type, recommended by sealant manufacturer; <br />compatible with joint forming materials.
