THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PROJECT NO. 21-1011 <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT RELOCATION TO ANNEX <br /> <br />Project No. 21.1011 November 2024 015000 Temporary Facilities and Controls-2 <br />C. Remove temporary electrical power and lighting systems when the permanent electrical <br />power and lighting systems have been approved for use in place of the temporary <br />systems. <br /> <br />3.2 SANITARY FACILITIES: <br /> <br />A. Locate the facilities in a manner and at locations to remain accessible, functional and <br />secluded from public observation, insofar as practicable to do so. Relocate portions of <br />the facilities as required as the activity center of the construction advances. <br /> <br />B. Anchor portable facilities to prevent dislocation. <br /> <br />C. Service toilet facilities as often as necessary to prevent accumulation of wastes and <br />unsanitary conditions. In no event shall toilet facilities be serviced less frequently than <br />twice each seven days. <br /> <br />D. Permanent sanitary facilities constructed as a part of the Work shall not be used as <br />temporary facilities. Evidence of use of permanent sanitary facilities by construction <br />personnel shall constitute reason for rejection of such facilities. <br /> <br />3.3 FIRST AID FACILITIES: <br /> <br />A. Instruct construction personnel as to the location of the first aid facilities. <br /> <br />B. Check first aid kits at least weekly and replace expended items. <br /> <br />3.4 FIRE PROTECTION: Locate the system in a manner and at locations to remain accessible, <br />functional and readily identifiable during the entire period of construction. Relocate portions of <br />the system as required when the activity center of the construction advances. Instruct <br />construction personnel as to the location and proper use of each item of the temporary fire <br />protection system. <br /> <br />3.5 PROJECT SIGNS: <br /> <br />A. Install, maintain and remove temporary project signs as indicated by the Representative. <br /> <br />B. Anchor signs in a manner so as to prevent destruction and overturning due to high <br />winds. <br /> <br />C. Install temporary project signs at the locations indicated by the Representative. Maintain <br />signs in a neat and clean condition. Remove and replace damaged or deteriorated signs. <br /> <br />PART 4 - MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />4.1 MEASUREMENT: <br />A. Work under this Section will not be separately measured for payment. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br />
