Section Includes: <br /> <br />1. Aluminum framework for fixed glass panels. <br /> <br />2. Glazing in accordance with applicable requirements of the specifications referenced <br />below. <br /> <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Product data on standard fabricated items. <br /> <br />B. Shop Drawings: Submit manufacturer’s shop drawings for review showing materials, <br />material specifications, thickness, locations, construction details, joint details, frame <br />reinforcing, fastenings, break metal details, anchorage, finishes, glazing details, guard rails <br />where applicable, accessories, sealing and erection details. Provide setting plans for anchor <br />bolts in structure. Include wind load and deflection calculations. Submit Certification of <br />Performance Criteria of Materials, System and Equipment. <br /> <br />1. Shop drawings, structural calculations, and certification shall bear seal and <br />signature of designing Florida Professional Engineer. <br /> <br />2. Show interface coordination with structural supports, glazing, and sealant. <br /> <br />3. The Architect/Engineer shall be entitled to rely on the accuracy and completeness <br />of the calculations and certifications submitted by the Contractor. <br /> <br />C. Engineering calculations showing compliance with wind load requirements of the Florida <br />Building Code, 2015 Edition, plus rigidity and weather tightness criteria contained in this <br />section. <br /> <br />D. Manufacturer's literature and data as required. <br /> <br />E. Samples: Submit the following for review by Architect/ Engineer: <br /> <br />1. Aluminum intrusion with specified finish. <br /> <br />2. Glazing gaskets. <br /> <br />3. Weather-stripping. <br /> <br />4. Guard rail with brackets. <br /> <br />5. Warranties on system and finish.
