Seal joints between framing and the building structure in order to secure a <br />watertight installation. <br /> <br />D. Install break metal components, aluminum trim and aluminum flashing plumb and true in <br />alignment with established lines and grades. <br /> <br />E. Grouting: Grouting of curtain wall bottom anchors shall be in accordance with reviewed <br />shop drawings. <br /> <br />F. Fastenings: <br /> <br />1. Fastenings for curtain wall frames shall be concealed type, of stainless steel with <br />size and spacing subject to manufacturer=s structural design and reviewed shop <br />drawings. <br /> <br />2. Where exposed screws are unavoidable, countersink and finish exposed heads to <br />match frames. Fastenings shall be stainless steel. <br /> <br />G. Set glass framing in locations shown in the details, level, square, plumb and in alignment <br />with other work in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions and <br />approved shop drawings. <br /> <br /> 3.3 INSTALLATION <br /> <br />A. Isolation of Aluminum from Dissimilar Materials: Protect aluminum in contact with non- <br />compatible materials by separation with non-reactive materials. <br /> <br />1. Comply with the Florida Building Code, 2023 Edition. <br /> <br /> 3.4 PROTECTION <br /> <br />A. Protect components to prevent damage and staining from concrete work, stucco work, <br />painting, and other construction operations. Protect exposed portions of aluminum surfaces <br />from damage by grinding and polishing compounds, plaster, lime, acid, cement or other <br />contaminants. <br /> <br /> 3.5 CLEANING <br /> <br />A. At the completion of the project, clean all surfaces and adjust all operating parts to leave <br />the work free of defects or blemishes and in good operating condition. <br />
